2. Data we process on behalf of our customers
Where a financial institution engages Baselisk to provide services, we may process personal data contained in that institution's data. In that context the institution is the data controller and Baselisk acts as a processor on its documented instructions. That processing is governed by our agreement with the institution and is not covered by this policy.
If you are a customer of, or otherwise connected to, one of our client institutions, please direct any privacy request to that institution.
The remainder of this policy concerns only personal data we collect through this website, for which we are the controller.
3. Data we collect
- Contact data you provide voluntarily (e.g., name, email, company, role) when you contact us, request a demo, or subscribe to updates.
- Calculator inputs you enter into interactive tools on this site.
- Usage data collected via cookies with your consent (pages visited, device/browser type, approximate location). See our Cookie Policy.
We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18, and this website is intended for business users.
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Sharing and sub-processors
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers who support our operations (e.g., hosting, email, analytics, CRM), under appropriate data processing agreements.
6. International transfers
We are headquartered in the United States with an establishment in Malta. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, your data may be transferred to the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above. We retain inquiry and demo-request data for up to 48 months from your last interaction with us, after which we delete or anonymize it. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Marketing data is kept until you withdraw consent, save for a minimal record retained to ensure we do not contact you again. Where law requires us to retain records for longer — for example, tax or accounting obligations — we do so for the period required.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. EEA/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
